This project, like so many of our other retrofits, will offer extended water savings while reducing wasteful overspray. Too often new systems are not installed to manufacturer specifications and poor coverage is the result.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • Rebuilding houses in Florida can be a huge undertaking, installing an irrigation system around an old house is no different.

  • Clean Florida ground water provided a clean yet iron heavy water quality. Keeping water off hardscapes to avoid staining was an important focus.

  • Streaming rotary nozzles installed on pressure regulated heads cut through wind and provide the right coverage given unconventional hardscape curves.

CHALLENGE

  • Substantial roots and sandy soils made watering precision crucial.

SOLUTION

  • Matched precip nozzles will provide water slower, allowing turf roots to get the necessary water needed.

RESULT

  • Turf is thriving with minimal wasted well water. Hardscapes are left unstained.
